The Clinical Operations Coordinator is a dynamic role for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit and a flexible approach to "wearing multiple hats." This position ensures seamless clinic operations while supporting Health Navigators and PrEP Specialists. Pridelines is a longstanding nonprofit organization serving South Florida's LGBTQ community. While we have a rich history, we operate with the agility and innovation of a startup. Our mission is to support, educate, and empower LGBTQ youth and the broader community by creating safe, diverse environments that promote dialogue, wellness, and social change.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Communication & Education
- Address patient inquiries about clinic policies, appointments, and services.
- Provide HIV and STD counseling and testing for eligible walk-in clients, focusing on LGBTQ individuals.
- Educate patients about PrEP, assist with enrollments in assistance programs, and provide ongoing support for HIV medications.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure regulatory compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other standards.
- Audit prescriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Assist in implementing and updating clinic policies and procedures.
- Coordinate staff training and communicate regulatory updates.
Supporting Medical Staff
- Provide administrative support for healthcare professionals, including prior authorizations and lab result management.
- Oversee Health Navigator and PrEP Specialist teams.
- Act as a liaison between patients, clinical staff, and other departments.
- Collaborate with partner pharmacies and organizations to streamline services.
Clinic Operations Support
- Optimize workflows, schedules, and processes to ensure efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Represent Pridelines at meetings and events.
- Facilitate communication among team members to align with objectives and patient needs.
- Demonstrate familiarity with referrals, insurance policies, and billing procedures.
Program Management
- Develop and manage clinical programs to enhance service delivery and meet organizational goals.
- Monitor program performance and provide regular updates to leadership.
- Work collaboratively to align clinical programs with broader organizational initiatives.
Other Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate data and participate in team meetings and training sessions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in direct client services/social services/clinic preferred.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to manage multiple roles and responsibilities.
- Completion of Florida 500/501 HIV Testing Certification is required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility for evening or weekend work.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly rate: $20.00 - $22.00 (based on experience and education).

Physical Activity Requirements:
- Frequent computer use and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel on short notice.
