What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Practice Manager position at Primary Connection Health Care Inc?
A Dental Practice Manager at Bridge Community Health Clinic:
- Coordinates the daily operations of two Dental sites (Wausau & Antigo)
- Provides leadership to the Dental team, focusing work efforts on quality of services and strategic outcomes
- Manages the clinical staff including Dentists, Registered Dental Hygienists, Dental Assistants, and Sterilization Coordinator
- Assures compliance with all generally accepted clinical standards of care, OSHA requirements, radiation safety protocols, and infection control processes
- Ensures scheduling optimization, access to care, and linkages to specialty resources
- Collaborates with the Primary Care and Behavioral Health teams to ensure patientfocused, teambased care
- Collaborates with the Revenue Cycle Manager to ensure clinical workflows align with front, mid and backoffice requirements
- Serves as the lead resource for community partners/coalitions, State Associations, and a variety of key stakeholders
Key Areas of Accountability:
- Daily Operations. Ensures smooth and efficient service delivery and the staffing required to do so.
- Subject Matter Expert & Process Improver. Learns and consistently seeks to improve dentalrelated systems/processes that improve efficiency and ensure quality.
- Management Scope. The Dental Practice Manager oversees all clinicallyrelated dental staff. The Dental Practice Manager reports to the Integrated Services Director collaborates with members of the Senior Leadership and Management teams.
- Stakeholder Relationships. Ensures positive interactions across internal and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Need to Bring:
- An associate degree or dental diploma/certification with 5 years of relevant experience
- A minimum of 2years’ experience in a lead/manager role
- Electronic health record (EHR) systems experience
Even Better if You Can Bring:
- Current or past licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist, Dental Therapist, or similar role
- Experience in a training setting, such as Dental Assisting or Hygiene program
- Nonprofit and/or Community Health Center/Federally Qualified Health Center experience
- Multilingual skills
