What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Accountant position at PRIMARY HEALTH SERVICES CENTER?
Responsibilities
· Prepare and maintain financial records, statements, and reports.
· Perform month-end close activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
· Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations of financial transactions.
· Record bank deposits and direct deposits in the general ledger using the proper account distribution.
· Assist in monthly general ledger closing.
· Submits recommendations for improving the organization’s accounting operation.
· Comply with applicable law and fully compliant and cooperate with PHSC’s Compliance Program.
· Any other assignments deemed necessary.
Requirements:
· Must have a Bachelor’s degree (BA) from a four-year college or university in Accounting or Finance.
· Must have 5 years of corporate accounting experience.
· Must have experience in all aspects of accounting, including general ledger, trial balance, financial statement preparation and analysis.
· Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
· CPA and/or public accounting firm experience is a plus
· Experience with Sage MIP is a plus
· Detail oriented with good interpersonal skills
· Good time management skills and self-motivated

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
