Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Director of Resident Services Program & 504 Coordinator for our Real Estate Development and Management firm, specializing in family and senior housing. This key role is essential to ensuring exceptional care and support for our residents. The position offers flexibility with a remote/hybrid setup, overseeing operations across five counties, and managing a team of three direct reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Oversight: Provide strong leadership to the Resident Services team, including Resident Services Supervisors (RSS) and Resident Service Coordinators (RSC). Ensure effective and efficient department operations by streamlining collaboration, simplifying processes, and fostering open communication for positive outcomes.
- Compliance & Coordination: Serve as the designated 504 Coordinator, accountable for ensuring Civil Rights compliance. Monitor and implement processes to adhere to state and federal laws prohibiting disability discrimination, including Section 504 and Title II of the ADA.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of federal, state, and local affordable housing program requirements, including regulations governing rental housing and fair housing laws. Ensure consistent implementation of organizational policies across the board.
- Collaboration with Senior Management: Work closely with senior management to implement strategies that promote a universal understanding of social and aging matters affecting our communities, ensuring residents can age in place with dignity.

Experience & Education:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Gerontology, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of five years of experience in affordable housing.
- Experience in grant writing and securing funding.
- Experience in risk mitigation, trauma-informed care, mental health, substance abuse, or self-care is beneficial.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Smartsheet.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
