Description / Job Summary
SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION
Schedule : Monday Friday 7 : 00a.m. 4 : 00p.m. overtime as needed including nights and weekends.
Job Summary : Operates electric forklift inspects carriers (trucks and boxcars) when product comes in to ensure the carrier is safe clean and does not compromise product quality and / or safety of materials being received and count the inventory being delivered. Stacking and taking down packing material on slip sheets and / or pallets. Responsible for programming the printing press make labels operating scan guns to maintain product traceability and inventory control. Coordinate with FedEx regarding packaging requirements and scheduling pick up of packages on a daily basis. Also responsible for sanitation of shipping area and office. Enter inventory into the computer on daily and do a physical inventory of the Supply Warehouse on a monthly basis.
Basic Qualifications :
- Must possess basic math skills. (add subtract multiply divide)
- Must possess basic computer skills. (computers scanners)
- Must possess a valid drivers license and have a good driving record.
- Must read speak write and understand the English language fluently.
- Must be willing to climb up to 20 feet.
- Must be willing to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Must be willing to bend stoop push pull twist and turn throughout the day.
- Must be willing to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work in hot and cold temperatures for periods of time.
- Must be willing and able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Must be willing and able to follow all Safety and Food Safety rules.
- Other duties as requested by supervisor.
