Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of our warehouse. You will play a crucial part in ensuring that products are stocked, organized, and ready for distribution while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Duties
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling items accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space.
- Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock counts.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks (training may be provided).
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with delivery personnel or other team members.
Skills
- Strong understanding of basic math principles for inventory management and stock counting.
- Experience with cash handling and operating cash registers is a plus.
- Ability to perform retail math calculations related to stock levels and sales.
- Familiarity with grocery store operations or retail sales environments is beneficial.
- Excellent customer service skills to enhance the overall shopping experience.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy in stocking and order preparation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
