Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN – ProgressiveHealth Occ Health, LLC – Smyrna, TN
Are you an energetic and results-driven Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) looking to make a positive impact on workplace safety and health? Join our team and support our on-site occupational health and wellness services in a large manufacturing facility in Smyrna, TN.
- Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 10PM-6AM
What will you be doing in this role?
- Providing first aid treatment as appropriate to employees for both work and non-work-related injuries or illnesses
- Providing early intervention / ergonomic support to aid with the reduction of worker discomforts
- Performing pre-placement physical examinations including drug screens, hearing, and FIT testing
- Administering prevention measures such as flu shot clinics, vaccines, heat stress management, etc
- Supporting case management process
- Providing health advice, education, and support for chronic disease management
- Leading or participating in wellness activities such as health fairs and blood pressure checks
- Keeping accurate, detailed documentation related to injury reports and treatment notes
- Supporting safety team, as needed
- Other duties, as assigned

Our ideal candidate will have:
- Active LPN licensure or ability to obtain licensure
- CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
- Basic knowledge of workers' compensation and OSHA regulations, preferred
- The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout entire assigned shift
- Previous occupational health experience is a plus
- A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
- Be able to maintain confidentiality
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
