JOB SUMMARY
The Front Desk Administrator will provide direct administrative and clerical support to front desk and help support the Human Resources administration function. This position will greet all guests and handle administrative duties including answering phones, greeting guests and preparing company badges.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Telephone operator duties
- Distributing internal, external, incoming and outgoing mail
- Greet customers, visitors and guests and announce their arrival
- Maintain visitors screen
- Organize and call candidates to set up for testing
- Order lunches for new hires
- Maintenance and supplies for postage machine
- Create employee folders and filing
- Update policies and other documents as directed by Human Resources
- Prepare employee badges including taking pictures and uploading to shared drive
- Monitor company website e-mails for all locations
- Place office supplies orders for departments
- Update phone extension list for visitor phone
- Order supplies from Davian’s for administration, human resources and customer lounges
- Filing, mail and supply ordering
- Event planning and Social Responsibility support
- Providing safety shoe and safety glasses vouchers to employees
