ETL Tester

Role: ETL Tester

Work Location: Houston, TX (Day 1 Onsite) (Needed locals only)

Year of Exp: 12

Visa: Any Visa is fine. (Need to have 8 Months Validity minimum)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Should have team-handling skills with the Onsite & Offshore model
• Review requirements and prepare the Test Plan
• Develop and execute ETL test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate the accuracy and integrity of data throughout the ETL process
• Verify data mappings, transformations, and data loading processes to ensure they meet business requirements
• Should have various types of ETL testing experiences include Metadata Testing, Data Completeness Testing, Data Accuracy Testing, Data Transformation Testing, Data Quality Testing, Initial/Incremental load testing
• Validates data by running queries in the database and verifying that the results match the expectations
• Perform data reconciliations between source and target systems
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of dimensional modelling and data warehouse concepts, including star schemas, snowflakes, dimensions, and facts
• Collaborate with data architects and development team / engineers to design and implement efficient data structures to ensure the quality of testing by providing data validation expertise
