What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Inspector I position at Propulsion Controls Engineering?
Propulsion Controls Engineering has a current opening for a Quality Assurance Inspector I , with a minimum of one year ship repair experience; supporting our Aiea, Hawaii location. PCE is a full service electro-mechanical repair and diesel repair contractor. PCE has garnered a wealth of extensive experience in successfully executing major system overhauls across numerous ports throughout the world on virtually every class of ship currently in operation.
Job Summary :
Responsible for conducting in-process and final testing and inspections ensuring compliance with technical requirements for reliability and quality conformance. Schedules, conducts, observes, records, and submits testing and inspection results for work. Also responsible for the safe conduct of in-process and final operational checkpoints which requires not only an understanding of the technical aspect of the test, but also all required safety practices, undistracted situational awareness and complete focus on the task.
