JOB DESCRIPTION

As an HR Training Purchases - Personnel Assistant II, you will play a vital role in managing and administering the agency learning management system (LMS). You will be responsible for coordinating training purchases, ensuring compliance with procurement guidelines, and providing support to NASA employees throughout their training endeavors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Agency LMS :

o   Confirm training requirements such as scheduling and logistics

o   Create courses and scheduled offerings

o   Record learning credit and academic grades

o   Maintain accurate records and documentation

o   Support robotic process automations

o   Provide timely and effective support for inquiries and issues

  • Training Purchases :
  • o   Review offsite training request forms for accuracy and confirm center training authority

    o   Review onsite training requests to fully understand training requirements

    o   Initiate purchase requisitions

    o   Assemble pre-award packages for review and approval

    o   Complete required documentation for training purchases

    o   Review requests for modification of training purchases

    o   Review invoices for accuracy before assigning task to cardholder

    o   Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations

  • Reporting and Analysis :
  • o   Generate comprehensive reports for customers and stakeholders

    o   Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings

    o   Understand, develop, and document workflow processes

    Document all work within ServiceNow case

    MANDATORY

  • Experience : Minimum 4 years of professional experience in HR or a related field.
  • Skills : Strong organizational and time management skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and LMS systems; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work under pressure; Attention to detail and customer focus; Problem solving; Critical thinking; and Ability to work with minimal supervision
