About You
Perform a wide range of human resources functions. Duties include recruiting, hiring and training new and existing employees. The HR Assistant will assist in helping plan programs and processes designed to improve employee welfare. Maintain vital employee records and ensure the smooth operation of the HR department.
- Support internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department
- Compile and maintain paper, digital and electronic employee records
- Assist in HR-related training programs, workshops, and seminars
- Enter employee data into computer database
- Coordinate new hire orientations
- Oversee HR events and meetings and coordinating management-employee communications
- Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency
- Other duties as assigned
Your Responsibilities

Education and Experience:
- Three or more years’ experience as an HR Assistant or related position
- Working knowledge of HR functions and best practices
- Knowledge of employment law and human resources responsibilities
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of computer applications and HR-specific software programs
Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to engage and communicate effectively with others; tact and diplomacy; exercise good judgment and act calmly in emergency situations; and an ability to work effectively with persons differing in value systems, ethnicity, cultural backgrounds, language capabilities and disabilities. Ability to follow directions and work within a program structure.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized and emergency situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; inventory software; internet software; order processing systems; and database software.

The pay range assigned to this role is based on the geographic location from where the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
