About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our Professional Services team. You will design and implement Qt-based solutions, provide training, and troubleshoot. You will collaborate closely with customers to ensure their success in Qt projects. This is a hybrid in-office position based in Boston, MA or Birmingham, MI.
You will:
- Act as a Qt Advisor, collaborating closely with customers to understand and solve their challenges, ensuring the success of their Qt projects.
- Communicate directly with customers' development teams, providing expert service and fostering strong technical relationships.
- Visit customer sites as needed to offer hands-on support and build in-depth understanding of their projects.
- Deliver exceptional technical assistance, helping customers optimize their use of Qt to achieve project goals.
- Provide work estimates for new service opportunities
- Occasional travel may be required
About You:
- 5-10 years of software development experience, with expertise in C and embedded technologies. Qt experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of software development process, including CI and testing
- Exceptional debugging and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience with resource-constrained devices in the embedded or mobile field
- Graphics and video feed development experience (a plus)
- Familiarity with agile development principles (an advantage)
- Self-driven and able to work independently
- Capable of providing on-the-spot technical solutions to customers
- Team player willing to engage with Qt employees across the organization
- Excellent communication skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Salary : $133,100 - $175,500
