Summary
We are seeking an Assistant Director of Children's Services to join our team at our Children's Center. This role is pivotal in overseeing program management and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Director in all aspects of school service including procedural implementation and programming of a special education preschool and 3K/PKA program for adorable children, ages 3-4 years
- Direct on-going supervision and training of educational staff, curriculum development, IEP review, professional developmental and family engagement
- Must have excellent communication and organizational skills, knowledge and proficiency in computer technology and interpersonal skills necessary for interaction with staff and families.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree required. NYS certification as School Administrator/Supervisor, or in the process of obtaining certification; NYS Birth-2 Special Ed certification. Experience working with children with and without developmental disabilities.
Salary: up to $110,000 annually based on experience and certification. 35-hour work week for 10-month school year and 6-week summer program.
