Job Overview
We are seeking an Assistant to the President. This role will provide administrative and purchasing support to the President of a small business (about 40 employees).
Responsibilities
- Maintain office files, records, and confidential information
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, emails, and phone calls
- Printing the daily sales report and reviewing with the President. Contact vendors for current pricing and availability
- Support the Sales team with purchasing of components. Contacting vendors for pricing and availability.
- Assist with creating purchase orders and ensuring products are delivered on time
- Provide general administrative support such as data entry, filing, and document management
- Special projects/tasks. Ability to drive to do local administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Composure to work at a fast paced but in a very detail oriented manner
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on providing exceptional support
- Ability to maintain discretion handling sensitive information
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- High level of computer literacy for various tasks
