Technical Skills and Qualifications
Required:
- 3 years of work experience as a backend developer, with proficiency in Python and/or C#.
- Solid experience with messaging solutions such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Solace.
- Demonstrated ability in code optimization, performance tuning, and testing.
- Good understanding of both SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a closely related field.
Preferred:
- Some exposure to or understanding of energy/commodity markets (e.g., Power, Gas, Oil, Coal, Metals, Emissions) is beneficial but not required.
- Familiarity with OTC products (forwards, swaps, options, swaptions) is a plus.
