Raise Workforce has partnered with Kelvion, a global manufacturer of industrial heat exchangers for a highly diversified range of market segments including energy. Their services can be applied to data center, chemical industries; marine applications; HVAC and refrigeration; and environmental as well as the food and beverage industries.
We are working to support their hiring needs to Temp to Hire roles across multiple locations and positions. This is a great opportunity to get started with an established company like Kelvion.
We are looking for a Structure FICEP/Beamline/CNC Operator, in this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, performing various functions such as cutting and punching, and ensuring efficient and precise operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines, using machine programs or control monitoring screens to perform cutting and punching functions.
- Determine and select machine procedures, tooling requirements, and control settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, material planning sheets, sketches, or related technical data to calculate and create cutting and punching programs.
- Start machines and monitor displays and operations to detect malfunctions.
- Observe and listen to machine operations to identify issues such as worn or damaged cutting tools or punches.
- Identify correct material use as per Bill of Material (BOM).
Qualifications:
- Experience in CNC operation and programming.
- Minimum 1-month related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Able to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately with minimal material usage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to detect and address machine malfunctions.
- The position is identified as safety-sensitive and will require completion of a pre-employment alcohol & drug test and criminal record check.
