Painter 1st or 2nd Shift

$22.00 to $28.00 per hour This includes the $3.50 shift differential.
Monday thru Thursday 10 hours/day
POSITION SUMMARY:
Paints hydraulic cylinders with use of spray guns. Responsible for cleaning/washing cylinders prior to paint process and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Job Duties:
Understand proper use of live loading equipment (hoists), of cylinder wash equipment and equipment used for painting process.
Performs wash water checks and completes required form.
Knowledge of product, cylinder size and color, how the cylinder hangs.
Knowledge of Tech Data Sheets, understanding formulas to mix paint.
Ability to paint products to meet customer specifications. Ability to use paint thickness gage.
Knowledge of MSDS sheets.
Know how to read a blueprint.
Knowledge of proper packaging requirements.
Ability to follow job order status and release jobs using Shop Floor Manager.
Performs all computer functions necessary to clock in and out of jobs and verifies payroll hours.
Completes proper supporting paperwork: NCR, shortage sheet, maintenance requests, attendance forms, and other paperwork as required.
Know how to safely use paint recycler and complete the required form.
Maintains a clean and organized work area, including equipment using water, solvents, and other cleaning aids.
Ability to safely operate a forklift.
Knowledge of proper packaging of cylinders.
Ability to problem solve independently, seeking guidance from manager/supervisor, as necessary.
