Ravenwood Health is looking for PRN's at both our adolescent residential facility, the Geauga Youth Center (GYC) and our adult residential facility, the Transitional Living Center (TLC). Residential Care Workers are critically important members of our residential team and they provide support, monitoring and guidance in all activities. This opportunity is ideal for those looking to gain experience in the behavioral health field. The ideal candidate is someone who is looking for flexible hours that may include evening, overnight and weekend shifts. PRN employees have the freedom to choose their shifts can work as little or as much as they'd prefer.

Each position includes comprehensive training and ongoing competency assessments to ensure that our team members are able to successfully complete their job responsibilities.

GYC Residential Worker Responsibilities

  • Direct supervision and involvement with clients
  • Monitoring routines
  • Supporting treatment goals
  • Daily administrative and cleaning tasks.

TLC Residential Worker Responsibilities

  • Provide interactive supervision and support for residents at the Transitional Living Center
  • Respond to Copeline calls, while maintaining the highest degree of professionalism and sensitivity in all caller/resident interactions.
  • Utilizes verbal de-escalation skills with TLC residents and Copeline callers and demonstrates proficiency in crisis recognition, management, and de-escalation.

Residential Worker Requirements Include

  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must pass background check
  • Must be 21 years or older to work at the GYC
