About Real Estate Trainers

Real Estate Trainers, Inc., was founded in 1972 by Bob Morris and Larry McHarg. Through associations with several real estate companies such as Century 21, First Team Real Estate, EXIT Realty, Star Realty and others, Real Estate Trainers provides the Instructors and materials for LIVE Real Estate Principles Courses throughout Southern California, and broadcasts LIVE Webinars throughout California. RET also provides on-line and correspondence real estate courses needed to qualify for a Salesperson or Brokers License, along with continuing education requirements to maintain your license. In 1984..., Jerry McHarg (Larrys Brother) served as Vice President of Real Estate Trainers until 2007 when Lance McHarg (Larrys Son) took over that position, and is continuing on in the family tradition. In 1991, RET began offering LIVE classes for the Real Estate Appraisers License. These courses meet the upgrade, disciplinary or continuing education requirements of the California Bureau of Real Estate Appraisers (BREA). In 2010, RET began offering National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) required courses. The 20 hour basic course, and 8 hour continuing education course are offered as LIVE classes. 2012 marks Real Estate Trainers 40th Anniversary. That is the year RETs vision of becoming a Full Service school was realized with the Pre-Licensing courses, the Crash Courses to pass your government exam the first time and now, Post-License courses to continue serving the public.
