Food Service Manager

Red Onion in Galena, KS is looking for an hourly service manager to join our 15 person team. We are located on 1619 K66 Highway, Galena KS. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

*Train employees and monitor operations to ensure customers expectations are exceeded *Manage employees to provide exceptional food quality and guest service in a timely and cost effective method *Manage room service orders for patients *Manage and adhere to hospital guidelines as we are the food service provider for the patients *Monitor inventory, labor and restaurant costs to improve overall profitability *Implement health and safety protocols *Actively Build catering and delivery business (potential bonus based on sales)

Qualifications

*Experience working in related field *Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize *Able to manage and lead a team to success *Some experience working in the kitchen *Starting pay based on experience *Must have lunch and/or dinner availability

Benefits

*No late nights currently close at 8pm *Most major holidays off unless patient count is heavy, may be required to work one of the three meal periods servicing the rooms. *A occasional Sunday to service patients during meal periods *Shared Tips with all hourly staff members

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $13.00 - $16.00/hour.
