What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist/Office Assistant position at Redman Van & Storage?
We are looking for a customer-oriented receptionist with the ability to multi-task. The best CSRs are genuinely excited to help customers. Customer service representatives can put themselves in their customers’ shoes and advocate for them when necessary. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.
This position is also responsible for various office duties, such as filing, data entry, scanning as well as other office duties.
Responsibilities
- Manage all incoming calls as well as some outgoing calls
- Greet any customers or visitors that come into the office
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
- Entering data with accuracy
Skills
- Customer support experience or experience as a client service representative and/or receptionist
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Basic office skills that include but are not limited to computer, email, fax, scanning, filing, etc.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
