What are the responsibilities and job description for the Survey Instrument Man position at Regional Land Surveyors, Inc?
Regional Land Surveyors is seeking qualified instrument operators for local and out of town work.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in land surveying is required as well as a strong understanding of GPS and Conventional survey methods. Applicants should have experience with Carlson SurvCE data collection software (or similar software), GPS receivers, and conventional and robotic total stations. Out of town travel on a weekly basis may be required.
Annual and random drug screening is required as well as pre-employment background check, and a satisfactory driving record.
Knowledge and understanding of AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word are a plus.
