Description
The Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality management within the organization. This includes the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. The Quality Manager will lead continuous improvement initiatives, manage audits, and work closely with cross functional teams to drive quality standards across all products and processes.
Essential Duties and Functions:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management Systems.
- Lead and manage quality assurance and quality control activities across all product lines and departments.
- Collaborate with production and operation teams to ensure products meet quality standards and customer expectations.
- Conduct regular quality audits and assessments, identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze quality data and trends to identify potential quality issues, reporting findings to senior management.
- Provide training and guidance to technicians on quality standards, best practices, and process improvements.
- Oversee customer complaints resolution and initiate corrective and preventive actions when necessary.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Proficient in statistical analysis, root cause analysis, and quality control tools.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail necessary to consistently maintain quality standards and an orderly work environment
- Ability to read and understand policies, procedures, and work orders
- Ability and willingness to flex into other job roles from time-to-time as production demands dictate
- Willingness to work overtime when needed from time-to-time
- Reliable and dependable attendance
- Ability to lift 35 pounds unassisted
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, sit and stand
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience.)
Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
