Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential community. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property management and customer relationship management, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for residents. This role requires excellent organizational skills, legal administrative knowledge, and the ability to manage contracts effectively. The Community Manager will be responsible for maintaining high occupancy rates while fostering positive relationships with residents.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the community, ensuring compliance with all regulations and policies.
- Manage resident relations by addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely manner.
- Coordinate leasing activities, including upselling available units and managing lease agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant information and contracts using property management software such as Yardi.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure maintenance standards are met and address any issues promptly.
- Implement community events and programs to enhance resident engagement and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs and upkeep of the property.
- Prepare reports on occupancy rates, financial performance, and resident feedback for management review.
- Stay informed about local real estate trends and regulations, particularly related to LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) properties.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of legal administrative processes related to real estate and property management.
- Excellent customer relationship management skills with a focus on resident satisfaction.
- Familiarity with contract management and negotiation processes.
- Proficient in using property management software; experience with Yardi is a plus.
- Ability to effectively upsell properties while maintaining ethical standards.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with residents and staff.

Pay: $54,856.00 - $56,903.00 per year
