The Human Resources Generalist will perform administrative duties related to the operations of the human resources office.
- Organize, compile, update company personnel records and documentation.
- Manage and update HR databases (Paylocity, WorkVivo, Open Path, Perform Yard) with different information such as new hires and terminations.
- Maintain employee filing system.
- Help in payroll management, preparation and payment assuring all information (including direct deposit) is input correctly.
- Ensure benefit enrollments and terminations are processed in various carrier systems.
- Assist with the annual open enrollment process and reporting.
- Prepare, manage and store paperwork for HR policies and procedures.
- Answer employees’ questions and provide requested information.
- Assist recruiters in posting job ads on careers pages and processing received resumes.
- Answer telephone calls and provide needed information.
- Create reports for senior management.
- Help organize and manage new employee orientation, on-boarding, and training programs.
- Process employees’ requests and provide relevant information.
- Processes required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification and other related employment matters.
- Processes leave of absence paperwork including administering FMLA and ADA leaves.
- Updating HRIS (e.g. new hires, separations, vacation and FMLA).
