Founded in 2016, Republic is headquartered in New York City with offices worldwide. Republic is looking for an Operations Manager to join the Platform Operations team.
What you’ll do
- Manage operational configurations on the platform for functions including escrow establishments, payment processing, refunds and settlements, user account maintenance, payment reports and dashboards, reconciliation and disbursement, and other assigned projects.
- Support the Director of Platform Operations, Product Manager, and VP of Engineering in building new platform features, third-party integrations and growth initiatives.
- Implement design, development, deployment and maintenance activities.
- Perform testing and quality assurance of platform functionality, ensuring the desired feature requirements are fully planned, communicated and delivered from development through successful execution.
- Implement and administer offering document management systems and related platform procedures that allow organizations to capture, store, retrieve, share, and destroy electronic records and documents in accordance with applicable industry regulations. Drive consistent standardized operational solutions for business processes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in operations for the token sales campaigns. Interact with other business divisions to provide solutions to closing problems in a timely and proactive manner for token sales offerings: KYC/KYB/AML, cryptocurrency payment channels, closing and disbursement, distribution of tokens and other post-closing activities. Deliver seamless user experience for the end-to-end investment cycles that occur via the Republic funding portal.
- Perform system and data analysis, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of incidents relating to platforms and/or application environments. Lead efforts to develop corrective actions or viable workarounds to resolve incidents. Manage requests and queries from both internal and external customers in a timely and professional manner.
Our ideal candidate
- A degree in Information System, Engineering, Finance or related discipline, or equivalent 2 years of work experience in a highly regulated industry. Willingness to obtain necessary industry licenses.
- Proven ability to support and administer large-scale high-volume investment/fintech platforms. Hands on technical, operational and product experience with crypto, blockchain, and the web3 ecosystem is highly desired.
- Strong domain knowledge of payment systems, application architecture, APIs, and software roadmaps.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to details as handling others' money and regulatory responsibilities are top priorities.
- A collaborative team player who can work well within a diverse team and independently.
- Strong operational skills, including the ability to work with both internal and external users and resolve issues.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communications as well as the ability to speak both business and technical languages.
- Familiarity with Linear ticketing systems, CRM (such as Salesforce), and data management tools (such as Looker) for investigating customer inquiries and support troubleshooting of incidents.
- Knowledge of the web3 and crypto space, willing to learn and understand various blockchains and protocols as it relates to crypto payments.
- Accounting and financial experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of the securities industry and willingness to take exams as a registered representative and series 99 holder.

A qualified candidate, based in New York, can expect a base salary of $85,000.00-$105,000.00. A standard offer from Republic includes base compensation, equity options, and a highly competitive benefits and perks package. Offers are determined by a number of factors including (but not limited to) the applicant's experience, skills, certifications, as well as internal equity among our team.
