What are the responsibilities and job description for the MEP Superintendent position at ResourceTek, LLC?
ResourceTek is actively recruiting for an MEP Superintendent for a client of ours based out of Nashville, TN. This is a contract to hire or direct hire opportunity.
The MEP Superintendent supervises and coordinates the operations, maintenance and service repairs on heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems. In addition, this role oversees the installation of new units and replacement parts and ensures work is completed according to company specifications and established safety guidelines. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring safety, schedule delivery, quality of work, and budget, as well as field construction oversight during project implementation.
Qualifications:
5 years of HVAC installation experience. Previous experience as PM, QC, or MEP Superintendent on small to large projects.
3 years in a leadership role
Proficient knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing systems
Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Valid Driver's License
Bachelors degree in Construction Management or Engineering (Mechanical or Electerical) preferred; will consider candidates with an Associate’s degree or 10 years of field experience
Responsibilities:
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Oversee quality within your project(s).
Manage subcontractors being utilized for the job.
Forecast manpower and materials.
Communicate effectively with Builders and Project Managers.
Assist with development of detailed schedules for MEP activities.
Build and maintain project schedule.
Coordinates work with subcontractors to ensure all subcontract work is within project scope and specifications.
