About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Control Room Operator to join our team in Brookhaven, MS. As a Control Room Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling plant operations, including pellet mill operations, and quality testing. Your primary goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the plant, while adhering to all safety and environmental regulations. You will work closely with other members of the operations team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise, and will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all plant operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in control room operations
- Experience with steam turbines, compressors, boilers, and pumps
- Knowledge of refinery operations
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in control room operations
- Experience with DCS and PLC systems
- Experience with gas turbines and/or combined cycle power plants
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control plant operations from the control room
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the plant
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise
- Maintain accurate records of all plant operations
- Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations
Skills:
As a Control Room Operator, you will use your expertise in control room operations, to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the plant.
