Estimated starting salary is $712-$867 per week.
Job Specifications:
• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma required.
• A knowledge of English so as to read envelopes and handle all incoming and outgoing correspondence.
• Good Writing and Communication Skills.
• Basic PC skills required to work postal meter.
• A knowledge of Excel and Word is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to get along with others.
• Incumbent must possess a valid NYS driver license.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Drive to New Hyde Park warehouse to pick up bank owned vehicle used to deliver interoffice mail.
2. Check supplies to be delivered against load sheet to ensure all items are accounted for.
3. Drive to Main Office to pick up interoffice mail and any other supplies and marketing materials to ensure timely delivery to the branches.
4. Drive to each branch on the assigned route to deliver mail and pick up any outgoing mail from the branches.
5. Pick up, sort and deliver interoffice mail, postal mail and packages throughout the building for distribution in accordance with a set time schedule.
6. Pick up and deliver mail from and to the Unities States Postal Service located near the Branch.
7. Log all outgoing certified mail and bring to the post office for processing.
8. Helps out when necessary by performing other related duties which may be necessary from time to time.
