We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Account Manager in Auburn, Maine. Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients, agency, and company underwriter.
- Process and manage mail correspondence using established procedures for support.
- Spearhead policy amendments and new business ventures as well as policy renewal marketing, which includes preparing applications, rating, and forwarding to designated companies.
- Communicate policy details, costs, consequences, and obligations to customers.
- Maintain detailed records of client activity for follow-up purposes.
- Regularly review monthly renewal list, making changes on coverages as appropriate and ensuring policies are received by the renewal date.
- Prepare new business or renewal proposals as needed.
- Utilize skills in Commercial Insurance, Personal Insurance, Proposal Preparation, Policy Administration, and Scheduling to ensure smooth operations.
- Must have a good understanding of Commercial Insurance
- Experience with Personal Insurance is crucial
- Ability to prepare effective proposals
- Proficient in policy administration tasks
- Strong scheduling skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Must have strong ethical standards and integrity
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
