Job Description:The role of Senior Project Accountant is responsible for monitoring the progress of projects, variances and compiling construction draws and ensuring billings are recorded in a timely manner. Specific responsibilities include:Prepare and reconcile bank, loan and project accountsWork with Construction Draw accountants on project drawsPrepare accounting, financial and statistical statements and reportsParticipate in quarterly forecasting process Collaborate with development teams, report and manage on project status at all phasesReview and maintain established accounting practices and proceduresPrepare quarterly and annual financial statements for internal and external purposesPrepare wire and ACH payment requests from Accounts PayableCommunication with external auditors and vendors as required
