A full service creditor's rights law firm with a national bankruptcy practice is seeking an attorney with experience representing secured creditors in consumer Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases. A qualified candidate must have 2 years’ experience and a working knowledge of the Bankruptcy Code and Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure. However, we are open to training the right team-oriented candidate with less experience. License to practice law in Texas.

- Primarily manages bankruptcy routine matters
- Draft and review all pleadings and claims filed in the particular matter
- Attends scheduled hearings
- Responds to general firm wide bankruptcy inquiries
- Review filings on behalf of the clients
- Monitoring of all electronic filings (ECFs)
- Resolving routine bankruptcy matters such as Motions for Relief, Objections to Confirmation, Proofs of claim, etc.
- Regular communication with the client, opposing counsel and the Court
- Knowledge of bankruptcy rules/laws and general Creditor Rights laws
- Computer Literacy Professionalism
- Keyboard Skills Attention to detail
- Time Management Communication Skills
- Law degree – JD
- Barred in Texas
- Admitted to District and/or Bankruptcy Courts in Texas
