JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (LIST IS NOT INCLUSIVE)
- Perform assigned HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting tasks safely in a commercial and industrial setting.
- Service, diagnose and troubleshoot various commercial systems including packaged rooftops, split systems, boilers, chillers, etc.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repair commercial HVAC equipment.
- Provide technical support in the field to other technicians.
- Obtain an NCCER Performance Evaluator credential and support learning in the field.
- Key focus on growing, building, servicing, and maintaining customer relationships
- Routinely travel to potential and existing customer businesses to drive relationships and sales.
- Consult with potential and existing customers to ascertain their HVAC system solution, including our maintenance program.
- Ability to follow and communicate instructions and directions both verbally and written.
- Mastery of HVAC components and terminology.
- Experience with inspection, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment
- Experience with HVAC systems start-up/commissioning
- Working knowledge of HVAC concepts related to leak detection, evacuation, recovery, charging, heat pumps and air quality systems,
- Working knowledge of service tools and testing devices
- Ability to follow and communicate instructions and directions both verbally and written.
- High School Diploma Required. Technical school preferred.
- OSHA 10 Preferred
- EPA Certified
- Valid Drivers’ License
- Minimum 10 plus years of HVAC experience required.
- Required to stand, walk, and sit.
- Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
- Use hand (s) and fingers to handle or feel objects or controls.
- Reach with hand (s) and arm (s).
- Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Drive.
