We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dining Room Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant's dining area. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a casual dining environment. As the Dining Room Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience while maintaining high standards of food safety and restaurant management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the dining room staff, ensuring efficient shift management and teamwork.
• Oversee daily operations, including guest service, staff training, and adherence to food safety regulations.
• Utilize POS systems for order management and ensure accurate processing of transactions.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food delivery and maintain quality standards.
• Monitor dining room cleanliness and organization, addressing any issues promptly.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and tact.
• Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing labor costs effectively.
• Implement training programs for new hires on restaurant policies, food safety practices, and customer service excellence.

Experience

• Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the casual dining sector.
• Strong understanding of shift management practices and kitchen operations.
• Familiarity with POS or other point-of-sale systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards is essential.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff alike.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 10 per week
