We are currently recruiting for the position of CoPack Order Fulfillment Personnel.
Schedule: Mon-Fri from 8am-4pm
Hourly Rate: $20.00/hr
The CoPack Order Fulfillment Personnel reports to the CoPack Inventory Supervisor and/or head of the unit/department.
The tasks and responsibilities of the CoPack Order Fulfillment Personnel are outlined below:
- Performs all tasks and duties required to ensure product availability for current and future production.
- Communicates with co-workers and supervision all information relevant to the donor and packaging replenishment process.
- Physically inventory the donor lanes to acquire on-hand inventory levels for each donor item currently being ran on the co-pack production line(s).
- Knows and understands the JIT (Just in Time) practices and works in collaboration with the inventory teams.
- Ensures a 1-hour window for JIT replenishment and that proper Date / Lot codes and packaging are used.
- Knows the purpose and usage rate of donors and can read/interpret the donor racking spreadsheet.
- Ensure the formulas in the Donor Rack spreadsheet are intact and functioning, as intended.
- Allocates orders, as needed for production within age guideline perimeters.
- Responsible for directing, scanning, and consuming inventory to the correct production lines while managing the restaging of new inventory during a run.
- Responsible for directing return inventory to the warehouse and manages the staging of new inventory during a changeover.
- Processes shift returns, as required, utilizing new streamlined returns process.
- Assists the Utility drivers with resolving work/process problems.
- Examines and monitors Utility drivers work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to quality standards, common practice and procedures.
- Maintains adequate staffing levels to ensure inventory demand is met daily.
- Identifies potential improvement areas and offers suggestions to help increase throughput, reduce waste, and maximize efficiencies.
- Facilitates and ensures flow management of products being delivered from the Warehouse to the CoPack Department for consumption into production.
- Facilitates proper and clear communication between both the Warehouse and CoPack Departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensures any maintenance or repair issues for the building facilities, vehicles and equipment are addressed and communicated to management in a timely manner.
- Provides leadership and fosters positive employee relations through effective communication, coaching, training, and development of subordinates.
- Maintains clean and organized donor replenishment lanes.
- Exhibits safe behaviors and promotes safe work practices with Associates.
- Responsible to follow all Safety, Quality, and Productivity standards.
- Participates in special projects as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Skills/Qualifications:
- High school education or GED preferred.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to use RF scanners.
- Must be able to read and understand Excel spreadsheets.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Must be able to work independently and prioritize tasks based on business needs.
- Strong communication skills. (written, verbal, and penmanship)
- Ability to frequently lift 35 lbs. and occasionally up to 55 lbs.
- Must be able to work overtime, both daily and weekends
