Account Manager/Outside Sales - Technical Sales and Customer Overlap for MSP/MMSP 


Job Description:


Account Manger, RCC Business IT, and established B2B IT Support and IT Cybersecurity solution provider is seeking an experienced a driven, customer experience-minded professional to maintain and extend our relationships with current customers. The ideal candidate will have experience with conduction client meetings, providing proposals and quotes as well as handling contract renewals. As a Client Success Rep, you will act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and play a crucial role in driving customer retention and growth.


Paid Training: RCC will provide comprehensive training on all of the services and products we provide. This includes

  • IT Support (MSP)
  • IT Cybersecurity Protection (MSSP)
  • Infrastructure Projects (Firewalls, Wi-Fi Systems, Secure Remote VPN, Servers, etc.)
  • Custom Software Solutions (KPI Dashboards, Integrations with Legacy systems, eCommerce)
  • Cloud Solutions (M365, VOIP, etc.)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Serve as the main point of contact for assigned contract accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any questions or concerns. Monitor and manage the renewal process for existing contracts, ensuring timely and smooth renewals.
  • Quoting: Provide accurate and timely quotes for new services, product upgrades, or other customer requests.
  • Service Escalation: Proactively manage service escalations, working with internal teams to resolve any issues quickly and effectively.
  • Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure they are informed about any updates, issues, or new service opportunities.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with sales, service, and technical teams to ensure seamless service delivery and problem-solving for clients.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders to foster trust and loyalty.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in account management, client relations, or a similar customer-facing role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle service escalations professionally.
  • Experience with contract management and providing quotes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sales experience with establishing goals and driving to meet those goals.
  • Industry experience in Technology Industry is a plus.
  • Experience managing multiple accounts simultaneously.
