Key Responsibilities:
- Title Processing: Accurately prepare, submit, and process vehicle title and registration documentation in compliance with state and dealership requirements.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all transactions meet DMV and state regulatory standards, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Coordination: Work closely with sales, finance, and service teams to secure and verify all necessary documentation for title processing.
- Customer & Agency Interaction: Serve as a professional liaison with customers, lenders, and state agencies to address title-related inquiries or issues.
- Record Management: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all title transactions, ensuring timely follow-up on pending titles.
- General Office Duties: Perform clerical tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining an efficient and professional workspace.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current Notary Public certification and/or Pennsylvania Automobile Association (PAA) certification is highly preferred.
- Previous experience as a Title Clerk or in a similar role in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of DMV regulations and vehicle title processing procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and dealership management software.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, professional environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications are a plus.
