Medical Assistant

Fast-paced Primary and Urgent Care Practice is looking for a full-time experienced Medical Assistant. Family practice, Internal Medicine or Urgent Care experience is preferred.

• Patient intake for examination and treatment, including recording history and vitals via EMR system.
• Ensuring exam rooms are properly set up and maintained with necessary supplies for all exams and procedures.
• Assisting providers with minor in-office procedures
• Phlebotomy
• Vaccine administration - both adult and pediatric patients
• Clear communication with all clinical and non-clinical staff members to maintain a positive and supportive work environment.
• Consistently provide excellent patient care and superior customer service

Qualifications

• Strong multi-tasking/time management skills
• Must be proficient in phlebotomy and vaccines
• A positive outlook and ability to work within a team
• Experience in the use of Microsoft Office products
• Experience in EMR
• Bilingual in Spanish or Russian, preferred but not required

Requirements

• Current Washington Medical Assistant license
• Current CPR card
• Able to work 9:00AM to 6:00PM with a Saturday rotation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• Spanish or Russian (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Certified Medical Assistant (Required)
