Credentialed Medical Assistant

About the Opportunity:
MyTeam is actively seeking to place a skilled Credentialed Medical Assistant with at least one year of recent experience in a physician’s office or clinic setting. This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Medical Assistant with a background in Primary Care who is passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care. You’ll work with a diverse patient population of all ages, making a meaningful impact in the community.
Key Qualifications:
✔ Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a physician’s office or clinical setting
✔ Primary Care experience preferred
✔ Strong dependability and a commitment to exceptional patient care
✔ EPIC or EHR experience required
✔ National Medical Assistant Certification required (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, or NHA)
Education & Certifications:
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program (Required)
- National Certification through AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, etc. (Required)
Essential Job Duties:
- Room patients, review medications, document vital signs, and confirm visit reasons
- Perform procedures within scope of practice under provider direction
- Conduct phlebotomy for lab draws as directed
- Handle patient phone calls and follow-ups
- Pre-visit chart preparation and provider huddles
- Additional duties as assigned
