Position Purpose
Provides courteous customer service, maintains merchandise displays, and performs departmental administrative functions to enhance overall customer satisfaction, sales, profitability, and store standards.
Job Scope
This position coordinates the work of _____ Customer Service Associates. This position has no direct budgetary accountability.
Essential Functions
1) Provide positive customer service by treating customers in a courteous and knowledgeable manner in order to maximize customer satisfaction and sales.
2) Guide and develop Customer Service Associates in the assigned area.
3) Set and maintain features with proper signing.
4) Place and maintain price removal labels in the correct location.
5) Implement and maintain store signing programs consistent with Company policies and procedures.
6) Maintain merchandise presentation within the department in a neat and orderly manner.
7) Set and maintain planograms and seasonal flows within prescribed timelines.
8) Coordinate the work of the Customer Service Associates in the assigned area.
9) Complete PCA worksheets in a timely and accurate manner.
10) Adhere to assigned work schedule in order to provide predictability in workload scheduling.
11) Ensure associates in assigned area follow Company policies and procedures in order to maximize customer service, sales, and store profitability.
12) Work with Pull Specialist to ensure count accuracy and in stocks are maintained.
Ancillary Functions
1) Price and stock planogram and feature merchandise as required.
2) Assemble fixtures and change shelving as directed.
3) Provide support to checkout and customer service areas as required.
4) Provide support to store management as requested.
Qualifications and Skills Required
ü High School Diploma or GED
ü 1-2 years of retail experience
ü Fundamental reading and math skills
ü Ability to effectively communicate in English
Working Conditions
Retail store environment where extended periods of standing are required
Occasional lifting and maneuvering of merchandise and displays
Occasional use of ladders required
Scheduled work hours may vary, to include evenings and weekends
