The Wellness Center Clerk is a part-time position that provides administrative support and customer service at Rowan University. Our ideal candidate is responsible for assisting students and staff with general inquiries supporting the overall daily operations of the Wellness Center. This role requires strong communication understanding of intersectionality, and a commitment to promoting a positive and supportive environment to Rowan University's diverse community.Key Responsibilities :
- Greet students, faculty, staff, and visitors with friendly and professional demeanor. Answer general questions regarding Wellness Center services, programs, and policies.
- Assist clients with scheduling and confirming appointments for wellness services.
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, managing office supplies, and handling incoming and outgoing mail.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries, directing them to the appropriate department or individual when necessary. Provide clear information about available services and resources.
- Support wellness programs and events by assisting with registration, materials preparation, and coordination of activities.
- Ensure the front desk area and common spaces are neat, organized, and welcoming to visitors.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding student information and all matters related to the Wellness Center's services.
- Assist Wellness Center staff with other tasks as needed, such as special projects or event planning.Preferred Qualifications :

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic office equipment (phone, fax, copier).
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and adapt to changing demands and priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

- This temporary, part-time position is assigned no more than twenty-five (25) hours per week. Work is contracted annually to coincide with the fiscal year and is contingent upon budget appropriate.Notes :
