Position Summary:
The Case Manager is an integral part of the Russell House team, ensuring that services provided align with the Missouri Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence (MOCADSV) standards and organizational policies. This role involves providing direct case management, advocacy, and support to survivors residing in the shelter.
Duties include:
- Utilize the Empowerment Model to deliver advocacy, information, and resources to clients.
- Provide crisis intervention and safety planning for potential, current, and former clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with community resources, including housing providers, healthcare professionals, childcare services, job placement programs, the Department of Social Services, Division of Family Services, educational programs, and other nonprofits.
- Actively participate in and potentially lead shelter meetings, staff meetings, and training sessions.
- Track and report statistics required by MOCADSV and grant guidelines.
- Facilitate educational, informational, and support groups for clients.
- Cover shelter shifts as needed, including holidays and weekends.
- Offer client advocacy in various forms, including medical, legal, and other supportive services.
- Serve periodically as the on-call contact for shelter staff.
- Implement and maintain safety, security, and confidentiality measures for clients.
- Adhere to the rules, regulations, and policies set forth by the PCFCS/Russell House Board of Directors.
- Support the initiatives and directives of the Executive Director and Board of Directors.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
One Day Full Time Shift Available:
Monday to Friday
6:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. (with 30 min. break)
Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of related experience
Ability to work independently in confidential and secure environment
Sensitivity to and acceptance of individual needs and differences
Ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner, particularly in the handling of confidential information, as well as in relations with personnel, facilities, and the community
Ability and willingness to work cooperatively as a member of a team to accomplish team goals
Individual must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be computer literate, out-going, creative and resourceful, a self-starter, and professional
Ability to pass background check.
Ability to lawfully drive in the state of Missouri.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
