The purpose of this job is to perform specialized work associated with the issuance of building permits and collection of School Facilities Tax and Development Tax. Ensuring that buildings, structures, premises, meet applicable building code standards for the purposes of determining the exact and correct School Facilities Tax liability. Duties and responsibilities include reviewing blueprints and construction plans, receiving and processing department revenues for building permits, development tax, School Facilities Tax, processing documentation, maintaining records, answering telephone calls, and providing support to the department. Report to the Building Codes Director.
