Job Description
A Quality Inspector is responsible for reviewing products and materials during manufacturing and repair process to ensure they meet customer requirements.
Quality Inspectors are responsible for inspecting and testing products and overseeing operations to ensure they meet production and / or repair standards.
Complementary Description
Responsibilities include :
- Enforcing quality standards for products and company produces.
- Inspecting units that are ready to be returned to service and assure proper compliance to regulatory and customer standards.
- Issuing 8130 tags.
- Reading specifications and prints to ensure that operations meet repair / production standards.
- Use of measurement tools to measure products.
- Identification, segregation and documentation of non-conforming material.
- Performing in process inspections as required.
Job Requirements
High school diploma / GED required. Associates degree preferred.
Experience in calibration / instrumentation discipline.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of electronics, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulics, electrical systems, are preferred.
Background and / or knowledge of EH&S programs desired.
PC Literacy with advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
SAP knowledge / experience desired.

Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Works well independently and in a team environment.
Support department and company objectives with other duties as required.
FAA Repair man certification.
