Maverick Power is seeking a Quality Inspection to support our growing team. Quality Inspection are manufacturing professionals who are responsible for meeting the required quality standards of incoming and outgoing finished products. You will be responsible for ensuring that manufactured products meet all requirements.
McKinney, TX & Garland, TX
· Performs inspections and audits of materials, finish products, and processes to ensure they conform to company or customer requirements.
· Document inspection on paper forms and records as well as using electronic devices.
· Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
· Strong experience reading and comprehending electrical and mechanical blueprints drawings and specifications.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Exemplary multi-tasking, organization skills and take direction.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
· Ability to be flexible with your schedule as work hours will be based on business needs.
· Must communicate (Speak, read, and write) in English.
· Familiarity with UL508A and UL891
· Knowledge of ISO 9001-2015 Quality System Standards.
· Strong computer skills required and experience using Excel, Word, Outlook
· Three to Five (3-5) years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing/assembly facility (preferred)
· Two to Four (2-4) years of experience working with LV, MV, and HV electrical. (preferred)
· Associate degree, trade school, or military experience. (preferred)
· High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution required.
Additional Qualifying Factors
· Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
· Must be able to complete pre-employment drug screen and criminal record background check.
· Must have a valid driver’s license.
· Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
· Must comply with all company policies.
· Must be able to lift up to twenty-five pounds at times.

Work Environment:
May work in various settings at the Maverick Power facilities, in offices, in multiple shops, and in commercial buildings. Maintaining the same position or posture while performing tasks and sitting for extended periods.
Capable of routine manual dexterity, walking, sitting, standing, typing, bending at the neck, and climbing.
Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environments, ability to spend large amounts of time standing, walking, bending, squatting, climbing ladders to perform inspections.
