Occupational Summary (Position Objective & Authorities):
Responsible for coordinating the full life cycle development of product proposals for France and US business units. Accountable for analyzing proposal requirements and ensuring proposal process compliance and responsiveness. This is a highly networked & visible role requiring the ability to work under tight schedules, interact with, and communicate to a cross-functional set of senior managers, internal managers, engineers, and other functional personnel in order to meet proposal deadlines. This role works under general supervision.
Authorities:
Has the authorities to define prices strategy by commodity under supervision of Pricing Leader. Key user and leader of M3 and future workflow M3 V13.

Main Function Responsibilities
List the current duties and responsibilities, each which account for more than 5-10% of the incumbent's time or are critical to the successful performance of the job
A. Responsible for consistent, timely and accurate input of RFQ requirements into ProcessIt and M3.
1.Obtain and analyze historical material and labor data using MAPICS standards, average actual data from computer queries, purchasing quotes and estimates based on similarity, drawings or engineering sketches and Use margin guidelines provided by Pricing leadership to develop recommended pricing, both recurring and non-recurring.
2. Review price proposal/spares pricing with Manager of Estimating and be prepared to answer questions posed by Management when proposal level requires such approval level.
3. Coordinate the shipping of price proposal/spares pricing to customer and/or appropriate person(s) who requested price quote.
4.On customer inquiries pertaining to the data found in the price proposal / spares quote, gather information from appropriate functional areas and prepare response to inquiry.
Qualifications:
-Work with Aftermarket personnel (CSR's/Manager/Director/S. Tan/B. Yeo) to investigate and make internal and external catalog adjustments -Work with the buyers/procurement team to improve our cost price if necessary D) Maintain estimating files, history, and cross-reference data. E) Propose solution improvement plan F) Support M3 deployment by supporting and training teams associated to the function G) Lead, coach and mentor lower level proposal specialist. H) Performs other duties as assigned. Education & Qualification List the Scholarship degree, type, etc. i.e.: • A Bachelor degree in business, marketing, finance or engineering or equivalent (6 years) training and experience is required. Work Experience - Technical knowledge • A minimum of 2 years in a related customer support, sales support, pricing, or proposal role. Professional Skills • Strong math, analytical and problem solving skills. • Ability to present complex financial concepts and strategies in an understandable and compelling manner. • Proficient in the use of mainframe systems and Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. • Must have the ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment. • Ability to read and review written communication. • Must have already worked with an ERP (SAP, Oracle, M3 or Mapics etc.) • Speech and hearing abilities that allow individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English. Behavioral Skills • Attention to detail. • Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and simultaneously.
