To address the growing demands within the Department of Defense, SAIC is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Lead Technical Writer to support the Data and AI infrastructure Management for our Digital and AI Team as we embark on a large initiative to lead the design and operate integrated Enterprise IT solutions that deliver AI-enabled capabilities and enable data-driven decision making to missions across the Department, Services, and Combatant Commands .

The I deal candidate will be adept at managing customer relationships, driving operational excellence, and fostering continuous improvement across all service areas.

Core Responsibilities

• Write technical manuals, training manuals, and standard operating procedures for prototypes undergoing development. These manuals are prototypes themselves and are held to a shifting portfolio standard.

• Write lab Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for equipment, including Hazard Analysis (HA) of procedures. These are standard Crane SOPs and written to that standard.

• Write test reports with support from Subject Matter Experts (SME) / team engineers.

• May be required to attend local meetings and training in support of this effort.

• Considered expert in field within the organization .

Qualifications

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelors and fifteen (15) years or more of related experience; Masters and thirteen (13) years or more experience; PhD or JD and ten (10) years or more experience .

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Candidate must be able to obtain, or maintain , the security clearance as required .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Intermediate ITIL training .

• PMI-PMP Certification .

• Lean Six Sigma Certification.

• Agile Scrum Master Certification .
