What are the responsibilities and job description for the Church Administrator position at Saint Paul United Methodist Church?
Provide administrative and clerical support to the Senior Pastor and staff and ministries including (but not limited to) word Processing, photo copying, scanning, faxing, scheduling emailing, sorting mail, filing, ordering supplies, receiving visitors and telepone calls.
Operate and maintain office machines (e.g., copier and folding machine) Perform minor repairs or place service calls. Order supplies for office machines.
Maintain office equipment and contact Trustees, volunteer technical suport, and/or local maintenance support channels as necessary for Church issues. Assist Trustees with scheduling vendor maintenance and with collecting vendor feedback and information.
Supervise and schedule office volunteers as appropriate
Schedule facility usage and maintain master church calendar for all building use, following Building Use Policy. Collect fees and loan keys as needed. Post activity calendars
Keep membership records, processing member transfers (in and out), preparing certificates (i.e., baptisms, marriages, etc.) Tabulate Sunday School worship and Sunday School attendance. Prepare Charge Conference Reports, Annual Reports in addition to other ongoing reports.
Church Management System: In conjunction with Pastor and Financial officer Maintain and update system as necessary.
Participate in Church Communications: Coordinating efforts with the Communications Coordinator, Pastor and Leadership Team. Maintain appropriate bulletin boards.
Other duties as required by the Senior Pastor/SPRC
