Account Executive (IT and E-Commerce)

As an Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, focusing on mid-market and enterprise clients. You’ll work closely with marketing, sales development, and customer success to drive new business and ensure a seamless customer journey.


Key Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Development – Identify and qualify potential customers through outbound efforts and inbound leads.
  • Consultative Selling – Understand customer pain points and demonstrate how our solution addresses their needs.
  • Full Sales Cycle Management – Own the process from initial outreach to contract negotiation and close.
  • CRM & Data Management – Maintain accurate records of interactions, deals, and forecasts in [CRM platform, e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce].
  • Collaboration – Work with BDRs, marketing, and product teams to refine messaging and go-to-market strategies.
  • Customer Advocacy – Ensure a smooth handover to Customer Success for retention and upsell opportunities.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of SaaS sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
  • Experience selling to mid-market or enterprise customers, preferably in [industry, e.g., cloud, fintech, HR tech].
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Familiarity with MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger sales methodologies is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and sales automation platforms.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
